Registration due by January 14 for UUFR’s ONLINE Coming of Age Class

Due to scheduling issues with our in-person Coming of Age course, this Spring we will be offering a special online Coming of Age course for 9th graders and older high school teens who have not yet had an opportunity to participate in the class. This online course will begin on January 21st and continues through May 27th. Registration is due by Sunday, January 14th by emailing Rev. Sasha at [email protected]

In this engaging and meaningful class, students will have opportunities to work with a mentor, learn about Unitarian Universalism and their own beliefs, and develop a statement of belief, called a Credo. Homework will consist of online reading, reflection and discussion as well as small projects completed on students’ own time.

There will be a special Q&A session on January 7th after worship to have all of your questions answered.  If you are interested in having your child participate, please email Rev. Sasha at [email protected] to help her gauge interest. We must have at least 3 students to offer the course in this format.
