Habitat for Humanity Interfaith Build

Our mission is transform lives to serve the world. Please consider serving our community by volunteering in the 2018 Habitat for Humanity Interfaith Build. Be transformed – or see things differently – as you reflect on your own housing situation and the needs of others while interacting with people from many different faiths. NO CONSTRUCTION EXPERIENCE IS NECESSARY.

UUFR is proud to partner with thirteen other area faith organizations as we assist Hamid Esserji and Zahra Hourri to build a home for their family in Southeast Raleigh’s Crosstowne Community.

We will be working alongside Hamid, Zahra, and folks from the Raleigh Sai Center, Hudson Memorial Presbyterian Church, the NC State Muslim Student Association, Sikh Gurudwara, Hindu Society, and many others. The home will be built during a 10-week time frame starting on Saturday, March 24. UUFR is tasked with providing five volunteers on April 7 and May 5 – as well as providing lunch for all volunteers on May 5th.

To volunteer to build, please go to this special Interfaith Build website at: http://vhub.at/interfaithbuild
