Shelter Neck UU Camp – Your Help is Needed!

Volunteers are needed to get Shelter Neck UU Camp back on its feet after Hurricane Florence. The chapel will be elevated and the buildings completely rehabbed, but only once everything has been cleaned out. On Saturday, December 1, from 10 am to 4:30 pm, join the volunteer team at Shelter Neck UU Camp to vacuum Williams Hall and the chapel, complete lath removal, and remove the dining and kitchen floors. Fill out this Shelter Neck Work Recovery Day form to volunteer.

We ask that folks provide their own safety gear – gloves, boots, masks, and work clothes. If you need gloves or masks, indicate that on the sign up form and they will be provided when you arrive.

Also, if you would like to carpool, send an email to Jane Harrison at [email protected] or  call her at 614-499-2151. Jane will coordinate carpools from UUFR. It’s a 1.5 hour drive to the Shelter Neck UU Camp.
