Won’t You Meet His Neighbor?

Francois Clemmons, singer, actor, playwright, and university lecturer, will show the documentary “Won’t You Be My Neighbor” at UUFR on Saturday, January 26, starting at 2 p.m. in Founders Hall.

Francois Clemmons played Officer Clemmons on Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood from 1968 to 1993, and he will discuss his perspectives as a black man about his role, with a Q&A to follow. His appearance at UUFR is thanks to member Nancy Stone and her family, who are friends of Mr. Clemmons. The event is free, with suggested donations to SAFEchild, and it is appropriate for high schoolers and older.
