Fall Programs for Children and Youth

Our Sunday morning Children’s Ministry programs for the 2019-20 year will resume on Sunday, September 15th. This year we will implement a brand new, exciting, program-wide curriculum entitled Soul Matters. Soul Matters is a theme-based UU spiritual deepening program for whole communities across the ages. It is currently being used in many other congregations, and we are very excited to implement it here at UUFR. For more information about Soul Matters, please click HERE.

As part of this transition, we will be placing a greater emphasis on Worship, Service, Relationships, and Parent Support. It is an exciting time to get involved! If you would like to participate in planning events or child/youth worship, facilitating learning circles, coordinating service projects, serving on leadership teams, or co-facilitating one of our programs for children or youth, please email Tryst.

In the meantime, we continue to offer childcare during Sunday morning services for children through age 5 in the Nursery on the lower level of Fellowship Hall near the stairs. Children are also welcome in our service and we hope to see many of you on Sunday, September 8, for an all-ages in-gathering worship service to close out the summer season.

Registration is open. Please register by September 6. Click here to register each child in your family. All families with children ages 0-18 should register every year so that we have current emergency contact -information on hand for minors on our campus and can plan better for age-specific programming throughout the year. You will receive additional information about your child’s group and other family ministry programs, including OWL and High School Youth Group after you register.
