The November Justice Sunday offering will benefit Urban Ministries (UM) of Wake County, which serves more than 32,000 Wake County residents each year. UM clients come for help with necessities: when food and funds have run out, when chronic illness threatens their family stability or even their life. They come when “home” has slipped away, leaving them to wonder where they’ll sleep or how they’ll make a meal. UM responds through its medical clinic and prescription services, its food pantry and nutrition programs, and the Helen Wright Women’s Shelter. UM’s Executive Director will speak at the Sunday Morning Forum prior to the service (see more information above).
