Give by app – If you are familiar with smartphone or tablet apps like Venmo and CashApp where you can send money to individuals with just a few taps, you’ll be pleased to learn that there is a similar app that you can use to donate to UUFR during Sunday service or anytime. Called Give+, the app is designed for churches and is easy to set up and use. Download the app from the app store, create an account, search for UUFR and select it. If you have donated recently, your credit card information may already be listed as it is integrated with the current online giving platform. You can enter another credit or debit card as well. Then, when it’s time to give, you can select a one-time donation or select a recurring donation for efficiency. In addition to giving to fulfill your pledge, you can also select to give to Justice Sunday, the Memorial Fund, or the General Fund. If you are interested in using the app but need a little help, contact Jill Denning to set up a time to walk through the steps by phone.
Give by text – Why download an app when you can donate via text? Just enter UUFR’s unique 10-digit GivePlus Text number, 844-939-2530, and the amount you wish to donate, and then press send. The first time you’ll need to register; afterwards you just text the amount and it processes automatically. Download the flyer for more information.
Give online – As always you can make online donations at UUFR’s website here.
Give old-school style – No worries, UUFR is still processing and depositing checks received in the mail. Send your check to UUFR, 3313 Wade Ave, Raleigh, NC 27607.
