Renovation Task Force Update

In January, your Board established the Renovation Task Force, headed by David Prestrud, to plan and oversee improvements to Peace Hall and to the kitchen in Founder’s Hall using funds from the One Heart Fund. The Task Force team is now fully staffed and is in the process of reviewing, prioritizing and costing out the work ahead. COVID-19 restrictions have added new challenges on many levels, but we want to assure you that this project is still a priority and give you an update on how we plan to move forward.

On Sunday, April 26, starting at 12:20 pm, we will hold a Virtual Town Hall Meeting following Sunday service to introduce the task force team and provide an update on how we plan to move forward. The meeting will be held in the same virtual location where social hour takes place and should wrap up around 1:15 pm. Since a virtual meeting with many participants will not lend itself to much discussion, we invite you to share any questions you have using this online form for Renovation Task Force Questions by Friday, April 24. We will do our best to address them in the information we share.
