This week the Generosity Campaign shared a rollup of the results of our pledge drive through May 24. It has been, beyond question, the most successful campaign in recent years. Thanks to the generosity of our members and friends, our pledge total for the new fiscal year is $597,124. Rounding up, we have reached 100% of our $600,000 goal. The percentage of participating households is higher than it has ever been — 91% of our 262 households. In a world full of uncertainty, this clearly demonstrates how deeply all of us value our UUFR community.
We owe a huge thanks to Linda Shanley and her team not only for managing this pledge drive, but for taking on the extra challenge of doing so within our COVID-related constraints. We are deeply grateful to all of our members and friends for this support.
We hope you will join us for our annual congregational meeting, which will be held online beginning at 11:00 a.m. on Sunday, June 7. Your participation is vital to the health of our community.
Please watch for information both online and in the mail regarding meeting access, and opportunities for learning more about how we’ll be managing discussion and voting activities in this new-for-us virtual environment.
In faith and fellowship on behalf your Board,
Mary Kay Fruga
