Fellowship Friends: Harriet

Thursday, November 18th, 10:00 am, Room 201, Upper Level, Peace Hall

Please join us for a movie, Harriet, followed by a potluck lunch. The movie is about Harriet Tubman, a Maryland slave who escaped to Philadelphia, then went back to Maryland, in disguise, 13 times and led at least 70 people (including her family) to freedom, before leading Union soldiers in battle. The film is based on historical events and won the AARP’s Best Time Capsule Award and several others. Bring finger foods to share and your own drink and tableware. Please join us! Email Chary Sundstrom if you have questions.
