We are still resolving technical and procedural issues to ensure the Congregational Meeting meets all of the necessary legal requirements.

This will be our first experience with a hybrid in-person/online congregational meeting. This later date allows more time to ensure a good experience for all of us.

The primary purpose of this congregational meeting is to secure an advisory vote from UUFR members regarding the extension of Rev. James’ contract—a decision the Board will formally make in December.

The other business to be addressed is a vote on the proposed Statement of Conscience presented from our Anti Racism Ministry Team.

The meeting will begin immediately after the service.

We will publish an official meeting announcement soon that will include:

  • An agenda
  • Proposed motions
  • Information for members participating via Zoom
  • Directions for requesting an absentee ballot.

This information will be available in our weekly Chalice newsletter, through Facebook, and on our website for reference.
