UUFR “Mask Optional” Starting September 4

The Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Raleigh will be “mask optional” starting Sunday, September 4. Masks will not be required during worship services or at any UUFR gathering.

The UUFR board, reviewing the latest CDC guidance, decided on this change at its August board meeting.

Both N95-type masks and surgical masks will still be available to any individual entering UUFR buildings.

High risk individuals and any individuals who have had a recent known exposure to Covid-19 are strongly encouraged to wear masks.

Any individual experiencing Covid-19 symptoms is strongly encouraged to stay home until they test negative.

All individuals are strongly encouraged to get any vaccinations or boosters for which they are eligible.

If you have any questions or concerns about this change, please email [email protected] or contact any board member.
