Our Congregation

Coffee HourThe Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Raleigh (UUFR) is a member congregation of the Unitarian Universalist Association. UUFR was formed in 1949 by a small group of individuals who wanted to establish a congregation where they could practice an open-minded, accepting liberal religion.

Today, UUFR has an adult membership of about 500 and about 300 children. Our senior minister is the Rev. Tom Rhodes; he is assisted by a strong professional staff and engaged lay leadership. We are located in a beautiful, modern facility on Raleigh's Wade Avenue not far from Ridgewood Shopping Center and Meredith College.
