Interrogation and Torture: Tonly Lagouranis was a U.S Army specialist from 2001 to 2005, first learning Arabic and later serving a tour of duty in Iraq from January 2004 to January 2005. He was first stationed at Abu Ghraib, later joining a special intelligence gathering task force that moved among detention facilities around the country. He has appeared on Frontline and his commentary has been published by the New York Times. Tony will be with us to tell his story and answer questions.

April 23, 2006: Planning Session

This will be a planning session for the Summer Services that Adult RE will be hosting. Bring your ideas. As time permits, we will finish our discussion of "The World is Flat" and review current events.

April 2, 2006: "Chance or Intent" Thoughts about Intelligent Design

We'll have another chance to discuss our thoughts on our series on Evolution versus Intelligent Design. We'll look at the place of Science and Religion in informing our views of the world and our struggle to answer the ultimate questions of existance. There will be plenty of time for discussion and interaction.
