Welcome to the UUFR Youth Religious Education (YRE) community! Ours is a warm, supportive and caring program, where children can feel comfortable, find acceptance and fellowship, and have fun.
Our programming is open to all, regardless of religious background or present beliefs, non-beliefs and wonderings. We gather to worship, celebrate, learn and grow. Come join us!
Sunday School -- 11:00 a.m. Sundays
This year we will take a new approach in that our year will divided into two distinct semesters. Each class will have a lead teacher for the entire fall semester and a second lead teacher for the spring. Each class also has a year-long teen assistant who will help with class rituals and peer mentoring.
All families are asked to send at least one parent to one of our orientation sessions at the beginning of the year. Families will receive class supply lists, registration instructions, and information about the fall semester just before Labor Day. For more information on the Parent Orientation Sessions, go to http://tinyurl.com/YREOrientation.
During our traditional worship service at 11 a.m., we offer the following Sunday morning religious education programming for children through grade 8 as well as a teen assistanceship program for our high school students. Children are grouped by age in these groups:
