Welcome to SoulCollage® at UUFR!!! Spring 2024 with Facilitator Doreen Clark Saturday afternoon, March 23rd, 1:00 – 4:00pm, Wednesday evening, April 17th, 7:00 – 8:30pm, Thursday afternoon, May 9th, 1:00 – 4:00pm, Peace Hall Room 201

Come nurture your soul in a relaxing and creative journey of self-discovery. Learn how you might complete the sentence “I am one who…”

SoulCollage®, an “expressive art,” is a process that brings together images, imagination and intuition to help you discover and explore your “inner self.” The SoulCollage® method, created by psychotherapist Seena Frost, M.A., M.Div., is fun and playful. At the same time, it often yields profound insights. No special skill or artistic experience is required. You do not need to “be an artist”! SoulCollage® meets you wherever you are in your life’s journey. Using images from magazines and other sources, you will create your very own 5”x 8” SoulCollage® cards and then you will use them to gain insight and self-knowledge.

You can sign up for one, two or all three workshops! Typical SoulCollage® sessions are three hours long and this is very much the preferred way to experience the process. However, I’m offering one much shorter 1.5-hour session on Wednesday April 17th so that those with less time to spare can still get a chance to enjoy the process. Your reservation is due three days before the scheduled session (earlier much appreciated!) so that I’ll have adequate time to arrange the materials and space for everyone. All materials will be supplied. We will meet in Peace Hall Room 201/Clara Barton Room.

Register here for Saturday, 3/23/24, 1:00 – 4:00pm (by midnight Weds. 3/20), Wednesday, 4/17/24, 7:00 – 8:30pm (by midnight Sun. 4/14), and/or for Thursday 5/9/24, 1:00-4:00 (by midnight Mon. 5/6).

I hope this will be the beginning of regular SoulCollage® workshops at UUFR and I even hope to eventually add other expressive arts offerings such as Sacred Weaving and Homemade Bookmaking! If you would like to be contacted directly for such future workshops, please email me here.

All of the steps for creating and working with our SoulCollage® cards will be covered in full in the workshops, so if you love the fun of a fresh new experience without “preparation” then by all means, go no further beforehand! However, if your curiosity has the better of you, or especially if you are much more comfortable “knowing more about what to expect” before a new experience, you can learn more about this process before the workshops by watching one or both of the following videos:
