Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Raleigh

Join Rev. Sasha after worship on January 7th at 12:45pm in the Music Room for a Q&A session about UUFR’s new online Coming of Age class, which will be offered this Spring to 9th graders and older high school teens who have not yet had an opportunity to participate in the class.

Due to scheduling issues with our in-person Coming of Age course, this Spring we will be offering a special online Coming of Age course beginning on January 21st and continuing through May 27th. In this engaging and meaningful class, students will have opportunities to work with a mentor, learn about Unitarian Universalism and their own beliefs, and develop a statement of belief, called a Credo, reflecting their growing understanding of themselves and their values, beliefs and commitments. Homework will consist of online reading, reflection and discussion as well as small projects completed on students’ own time.

If you are interested in having your child participate, please email Rev. Sasha at [email protected] to help her gauge interest. We must have at least 3 students to offer the course in this format.

For more information about the class, please visit our Coming of Age Google Doc.

Registration is due by Sunday, January 14th by emailing Rev. Sasha at [email protected]
