On January 20th, 2019 at 9:30 am in the Clara Barton Room in Peace Hall, please join Sunday Morning Forum as we seek enlightenment, education, and entertainment from this week’s outstanding speakers:
Stacey Abrams was the first African-American woman to be the nominee for governor of any major party in US history, only to lose what was obviously a rigged and stolen election. She talks about this difficult event and more in this inspiring and uplifting TED talk.
Christian Picciolini joined the American neo-Nazi movement and moved up the ranks to become an important and influential leader. After 20 years he had a change of heart and left the organization, a brave decision made at great personal cost. He is now dedicated to making amends for his earlier life. He tells his story in a riveting and deeply-felt TED talk that is guaranteed to leave no viewer unmoved.
SMF meets for one hour on Sunday morning (9:30-10:30). Our purpose is to expose ourselves to topics of current relevance. Sometimes we have videos to get us started. We always have lively discussion.
