Sunday Morning Forum: Sunday,

Elections are the beating heart of democracy, which most people agree is the best type of government our species has yet devised. Most people also agree that elections and democracy are generally corrupt, perverted, and often ridiculous. Is there a better way? This week’s talks examine several interesting possibilities. After a reality check regarding the true and depressing state of things, we’ll hear from one visionary thinker who would replace politicians with randomly-selected citizens, and another who would do away with them altogether and replace them with software. It’s a fascinating look into our twisted present, and some intriguing possible futures.

Sunday Morning Forum meets in the Clara Barton room of Peace Hall at 9:30 am. All are welcome.
