“WELLSPRING” is what happens every Wednesday evening at UUFR. It’s mission is to bring people of all ages and interests together to learn, make connections, foster spiritual growth, deepen faith formation and simply enjoy time with each other. Each week from 7-8:30 p.m. several groups and classes are offered for adults and/or kids & teens. Free childcare is available for younger children starting at 6:45 p.m. in the Susan B. Anthony room in lower Peace Hall.

Wellspring Events for Wednesday, May 16

Communication Strategies and Tactics for Difficult Conversations, led by John Luecke and Rev. Dr. Justin Osterman. We’ll look at how we respond to the fears and threats associated with difficult conversations, and we’ll examine some communication strategies and tactics to help you respond, while staying true to yourself, exhibiting respect for people around you and, just possibly, building greater understanding. (Clara Barton)

Genealogy: The “Why” and “How” of DNA testing, led by Linda Hames. All who are searching for ancestors are invited to meet to share research strategies and report progress. If you have questions, contact Linda at: [email protected] (Emerson)

Harry Potter and the Sacred Text. What if we read the books we love as if they were sacred? Join us each week to listen to the podcast and discuss topics like vulnerability, friendship, and destiny. Follow along at hpatuufr.wordpress.com! This program is for ages 16 and up; drop-in participation is fine. (Teen Cave)
