UUFR Death Penalty Resolution
The Unitarian Universalist Association (UUA) has passed at least 5 resolutions calling for an end to the death penalty over the past 20 years. UUFR passed a resolution calling for a moratorium sometime in 2004 when Rev. Julie Denny-Hughes was our minister. Now it is time to pass a resolution asking for the elimination of the death penalty. The congregation will vote on this resolution at the annual meeting on Sunday, March 18 2007.
