Second Friday Potluck and Folk Jam
Once again it's time for some folk music fun. Bring your instrument and come join us for some good food and sing along fun. The pot luck starts at 6:15pm and we usually begin the sing-along around 7:15.

Mystical Movies presents “I (Heart) Huckabees” at 7:30 p.m in Founder's Hall.
Lily Tomlin and Dustin Hoffman play a pair of existential detectives who are hired to investigate a series of bizarre coincidences. An absurd romp through existentialism, transcendentalism, and other philosophies as the detectives “help” their client find the deeper meaning behind his life and motivations.

Nothing But The Truth
Led by Rev. Tom Rhodes at 10:30am in the Sanctuary. Unitarian Universalists are committed to the “free and responsible search for truth and meaning,” but how can we know that what we have found is in fact, Truth? Is there such thing as an ultimate Truth, or are we condemned to flounder in a sea of relativism?

Discussion Forum
A Discussion Forum will be held at 12:00pm noon to share information about the congregation's plans to hire an Assistant Minister and add a Sunday morning Intergenerational Worship program next Fall. We would like to hear your hopes, dreams, and potential concerns about the proposal (a letter with details will be available in the foyer). Child care will be available this afternoon and at the forum planned for 7:15 Wednesday evening on governance issues.

Artist's Reception
There will be an Artists' reception at 1:00pm. Both Penny de Pas and Elise Okrend will be in Founders Hall, and will be glad to discuss their art with you. Jazz music will create a festive background to the reception. Please stay around to enjoy the music and the fine art works.

Souldful Sundown
6:00pm in the Founder's Hall. Soulful Sundown, UUFR's interactive, informal, intergenerational and FUN worship service will take place on Sunday at 6:00 p.m. The theme is TIME, and we ask that everyone bring an alarm clock. We’ll enjoy the music of Pink Floyd, John Mayer, Simon & Garfunkel, The Zombies, Sam Cooke and others, thanks to Dan Smith and the Flour Plowers. Fellowship and refreshments follow. Children are welcome.
