Sunday Services

Rev. Don and Rev. JohnThe Sunday morning worship service at UUFR regularly begins at 11 a.m. in the Sanctuary. It usually lasts about 60 or 65 minutes. The Sunday service is followed by the coffee “hour” and time for fellowship in Founders Hall.

We welcome visitors at all of our public worship services. Please dress comfortably; dress ranges from shorts to coat and tie, and most people dress informally.

Children are welcome.

Children are welcome at our services. We offer a Wiggle Room, with visual and sound access to the Sanctuary, where parents may sit with active children. We also provide nursery care and preschool classes during the entire service time for children under age 5. On most Sundays, older children participate in the first 15 minutes of the Sunday morning worship service before leaving to attend their Youth Religious Education classes.

Celebrations in the Garden

9:30 a.m. UUFR’s Memorial Garden (located just east of Fellowship Hall) is the lovely location of regular outdoor earth-centered services. Celebrations in the Garden are held eight times per year on or near traditional pagan “wheel of the year” festival days. These simple, informal occasions utilize words, music, movement and meditation to express respect for the earth, appreciation for the beauty and power of nature, love of the changing seasons, and recognition of the cycles of human and animal life.

Celebrations in the Garden last about 30 minutes. People of all ages are most welcome. Remember to dress appropriately (services are moved indoors if weather is inclement). Leaders and contributors are always needed! Contact: This email address is being protected from spambots.
