11:00 a.m. Bridging Ceremony. The Bridging Ceremony recognizes UUFR's graduating high school seniors and youth as they "cross the bridge" from youth to young adults and reflect on what Unitarian Universalism means to them, how our liberal religious heritage and faith has shaped their lives, and their hopes and dreams from the future.

11:00 a.m. War and Peace. Led by Rev. John L. Saxon. In recognition of Memorial Day, we will remember all those--soldiers, civilians, men, women, and children--who have died and are still dying in wars all around the world and reflect on when, if ever, war is ever morally justified and how our liberal religious values call us to the cause of nonviolence and peace.
June 2
11:00 a.m. The Democratic Process in Action. UUFR's Annual Congregational Business Meeting will be integrated into a worship service that reminds us of our tradition of congregational policy, our covenant of right relations, and how we are called to affirm the use of the democratic process within our congregations. The service will begin at 11:00 and end at 12:30. Everyone is welcome to attend but only members in good standing are eligible to vote on the election of officers, budget, and other business. Child care will be provided. Please bring a dish to share at the Fellowship potluck lunch immediately after the service.
Children Are Welcome. Children are welcome at our services. We offer a Wiggle Room, with visual and sound access to the Sanctuary, where parents may sit with active children. We also provide nursery care and preschool classes during the entire service time for children under age 5. On most Sundays, older children participate in the first 15 minutes of the Sunday morning worship service before leaving to attend their Youth Religious Education classes.
