The High School Youth Group (HSYG) meets regularly on Sundays.

Additional youth group activities are also offered throughout the year, including youth conferences (CONs) at The Mountain Conference and Retreat Center in western North Carolina.

High school aged youth are also welcome to serve as Teen Assistants in our Sunday school program for children or encouraged to attend the Sunday morning worship service.

Teen Assistant Program:

For several years we have offered teens in 10th-12th grades this leadership opportunity. It has proven to be an effective way to engage our teens while providing much appreciated support for our Religious Exploration programs.
Teens accepted into this program serve as Assistants in our RE classes as they are able (advanced scheduling is required, but it is okay if teens can only serve on some weeks). We hold periodic youth staff meetings, at which they receive $5 per unit of service they have completed via gift cards.
If your teen would be interested in serving, please have them complete the application here.
