The Race and Culture Book Club reads books that explore the intersection of race, racism, religion, and American history.

The book club meets the second Wednesday of each month, 7-8:30 p.m. Because of the coronavirus pandemic, the book club is currently meeting by Zoom.

This month (September 2020), the Club is reading Widening the Circle of Concern by the UUA Commission on Institutional Change. This work is an important discussion of the power structures, systemic racism, and white supremacy culture within the UUA. Copies available from the UUA Bookstore, on Kindle, or in PDF form here.
